Scope for ChatLinq
This document covers the product page at devslab.kr/products/chatlinq and the current ChatLinq development build. The website provisions below follow DevsLab’s existing published privacy policy. Provisions for individual features, such as chat enquiries, apply when that feature is used. The app-specific sections explain processing by ChatLinq separately.
What we process and how we collect it
Site usage (collected automatically, only if you agree to analytics): if you allow analytics in the cookie notice, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4) through Google Tag Manager (GTM), which uses cookies to collect a cookie identifier, the pages you visit and how long you stay, the referring URL, browser, operating system and device type, screen size, language setting, approximate location (country and city) estimated from your IP address, and site usage events such as page views, clicks and downloads. GA4 uses the IP address only to estimate location and does not store it. Before you allow it, or if you refuse, neither GTM nor GA4 is loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Cookie consent record (saved automatically, on your device only): to remember what you chose in the cookie notice, your browser stores a site_consent cookie holding the policy version, whether you allowed analytics, when you chose, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. We do not record this value on any server. AI chat inquiries (entered by you): the chat window in the bottom corner is AskLinq, an AI assistant service we run ourselves. It stores the questions you type and the AI’s answers, and, when a question needs a person, the name, email address or phone number you choose to type into the contact form. Contact details are stored only when you enter and send them yourself. Email inquiries (sent by you): if you write to support@devslab.kr (mailto:support@devslab.kr), we receive your email address and name, the message and any attachments. Access logs (processed automatically): the company that delivers each site (Cloudflare for devslab.kr, GitHub Pages for the open-source sites) processes your IP address, the time and address of each request and browser information to serve the request and block attacks. We do not keep these logs ourselves. Settings kept only in your browser: your language and theme (light or dark) choices are saved in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us. There is no sign-up, payment or location-tracking feature. We do not process resident registration numbers, other unique identifiers or sensitive information.
Why we process it
Site usage: only with your consent, to measure visits and see which content is read, so we can improve the site. We do not use it for advertising or personalised ads. Cookie consent record: to remember your choice so we do not ask again, and to load analytics only if you agreed. AI chat and email inquiries: to answer your inquiry, discuss your project and reply to the contact details you left. Access logs: to keep the site available and protect it from security threats.
How long we keep it, and deletion
Site usage: kept for 14 months from collection, then deleted automatically. The GA4 cookies in your browser (_ga and cookies starting with _ga_) last up to two years, are renewed on each visit, and are deleted as soon as you withdraw consent. Cookie consent record: stays in your browser for 12 months from your choice, then expires and you are asked again. You are also asked again if what this policy says about analytics changes. AI chat and email inquiries: kept for one year after the conversation ends, then deleted. If an inquiry leads to a contract, we keep the records for the period required by law. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. Access logs: we do not keep them; Cloudflare and GitHub handle them under their own policies. When a retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled, we delete the information without delay. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; we do not keep personal information on paper.
Sharing with third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties, except where a law specifically requires it or an investigative authority requests it through the procedure set out in law.
Processors and transfers abroad
We entrust processing to the companies below, and some of them process information outside Korea (Article 28-8 of the Act). Information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) when you visit the site or contact us. Google LLC Service: Site usage analytics (Google Analytics 4), tag management (Google Tag Manager) Country: United States Data: Site usage (the first item in “What we process and how we collect it”) When: When you visit the site after agreeing to analytics Retention: 14 months from collection Advertising: None — never used for advertising or personalised ads Opting out: Nothing is sent unless you agree. You can withdraw at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing stops the transfer at once and deletes the GA4 cookies in your browser. Contact: policies.google.com (https://policies.google.com/privacy) Cloudflare, Inc. Service: Site delivery and security; request handling, answer generation and notification email for the AI chat (AskLinq) Country: United States and other countries in Cloudflare’s network Data: Access logs; AI chat conversations and the contact details you leave When: When you visit the site or use the chat Retention: Access logs under Cloudflare’s policy; chat as described in “How long we keep it, and deletion” Contact: cloudflare.com (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/) GitHub, Inc. Service: Delivery of the open-source sites (devslab-kr.github.io and the documentation sites) via GitHub Pages Country: United States Data: Access logs When: When you visit an open-source site Retention: Under GitHub’s policy Contact: docs.github.com (https://docs.github.com/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement) Supabase, Inc. Service: Database storage for AI chat (AskLinq) conversations and contact details Location: Korea (Seoul region) — no transfer abroad Data: AI chat conversations and the contact details you leave Retention: As described in “How long we keep it, and deletion” Contact: supabase.com (https://supabase.com/privacy) Microsoft Corporation Service: Receiving and storing inquiry email (Microsoft 365) Location: Korea (Microsoft 365 data location) — no transfer abroad Data: Sender’s email address and name, message and attachments Retention: As described in “How long we keep it, and deletion” Contact: privacy.microsoft.com (https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement) The AskLinq privacy policy (https://getasklinq.app/privacy) explains in more detail how the AI chat handles personal information. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, do not agree to analytics (or withdraw your consent as described in “Cookies and how to refuse them”) and write to us by email instead of using the AI chat; email is stored in Korea. The site works normally without your consent.
Cookies and how to refuse them
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use only the two kinds below. We do not use advertising cookies or personalised ads, and the AI chat window does not use cookies. Necessary — cookie consent record (site_consent): remembers what you chose in the cookie notice. It holds the policy version, whether you allowed analytics, when you chose, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier, and lasts 12 months. The site needs it to respect your choice, so it cannot be refused. Optional — analytics (GA4 cookies: _ga and cookies starting with _ga_): stored only if you allow analytics, and used to recognise repeat visits from the same browser. They last up to two years. On your first visit a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the screen. You can choose “Accept all”, “Reject” or “Settings”; closing it without choosing counts as not agreeing. Until you agree, not even GTM is loaded. Cookies are stored separately for each site, so you choose on devslab.kr and on the open-source site (devslab-kr.github.io) separately. To change or withdraw your consent, select “Cookie settings” in the footer of each site (open cookie settings now). Withdrawing stops analytics at once and deletes the GA4 cookies in your browser. It applies to collection from then on; records already collected are deleted after the period described in “How long we keep it, and deletion”. About the record of your consent: these sites have no server that stores consent. The only thing that shows whether and when you agreed is the site_consent cookie on your device, and we keep no separate record of consent. So we cannot confirm to anyone when a particular visitor agreed, and if you delete the cookie in your browser your consent goes with it and you are asked again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them. Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → Block third-party cookies, or delete site data Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data Safari: Settings → Privacy → Block all cookies To turn off Google Analytics only, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Your rights and how to use them
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, ask us to stop processing it, or withdraw your consent. Write to support@devslab.kr (mailto:support@devslab.kr); after confirming your identity we will act within 10 days and tell you the result. A legal representative or someone you authorise may also make the request with a power of attorney. Site usage records are distinguished only by a cookie identifier, so we cannot tell who you are from them. To stop them, do not agree to analytics, or withdraw your consent at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer as described in “Cookies and how to refuse them”. You can withdraw right away, without contacting us.
Security measures
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to inquiry records is limited to the CEO and the staff handling them. We use our processors under terms and agreements that forbid them from processing personal information beyond the entrusted purpose.
Children under 14
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.

Changes to this policy
This privacy policy applies from 2026-10-23. If it changes, we will announce it on this page at least 7 days before the change takes effect and update the effective date above.
Information stored on your device
ChatLinq stores a profile identifier, the name you choose, execution state, process identifier, creation time, error state and executable path in a SQLite database on your device. Profile-specific Local, Roaming, LocalLow, Temp and Documents folders, language files and preferences are also stored locally. These local records may remain until you remove the app’s data from your device. This is not a promise that the current app has an in-app profile deletion feature. ChatLinq has no feature that asks you to submit messenger passwords or conversation contents to the operator. A messenger’s own login and data processing are governed by that messenger’s policies. The development build is not a released service with verified login persistence or compatibility with every messenger.
Network requests for language lists and packs
English and Korean are included in the app. Opening the language settings requests a language catalog from the language service. An additional language pack is downloaded when you select its download action. Request paths contain the language and version; profile names, account lists, messenger passwords and conversations are not placed in a request body. Cloudflare may process connection IP addresses and other transport metadata when delivering and protecting these requests. The app should therefore not be described as entirely offline. The catalog is provided at https://chatlinq-languages.sinny78.workers.dev/chatlinq/languages/0.1.0/catalog.json and may be delivered through countries where Cloudflare operates its network. The operator does not run a separate account database for this feature. Connection records are processed under Cloudflare’s policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). Downloaded language packs and your selected language are stored on your device.
Diagnostics and billing not currently offered
The diagnostic report collection server has not been deployed as an operating service, and the operator does not offer diagnostic report collection in the current development build. Before introducing it, we will explain the actual fields, purposes, retention period and how you choose whether to send a report. This product page does not offer account registration, checkout or paid subscriptions. Pricing and the payment provider have not been finalized. Relevant processing and contractual terms will be explained before a paid service is offered.
